Hello, lovelies.  It feels like a Before & After Tuesday, doesn't it?!

Recently I came across a beautiful buffet renovation with a
unique twist - a combination of paint and refinished veneer:

After:

Lisa, of Create Inspire Me, did
a superb job on this antique buffet,
truly the perfect combination of paint
    and restraint.

    Leaving the original veneer intact
    highlights the beautiful scroll work
    and molding.  Heirloom quality, Lisa.
Well done.  Visit with Lisa and view
her darling blog at Create Inspire Me.

Today's next re-do shows the potential hidden in a plain, unadorned dresser -

  Before                                                                            After
What a beautiful shade of blue.

And, speaking of Re-Do Blue, this distressed
vintage bar was in sore need of some TLC.

An amazing makeover, isn't it?

One of the great things about buying inexpensive thrift store
items is that you're more likely to take interesting risks:
       Before                                                                          After

The two-tone pastel paint treatment really makes the details pop, albeit subtlety.

It took a lot of courage to tackle this next project:
Before

After
I honestly don't think that I'm brave enough to take
on the 'before' beauty but the results are charming.

Kim, of A Brush of Whimsy, was given these two darling
but dated tables and decided to give them a makeover:

A Brush of Whimsy

Here you can see both tables in use.  Very inspiring, Kim!

What did we do before Pinterest?  Oh, yeah,
we spent hours watching hgtv!  Here is a very
dramatic office makeover they recently featured.

After:
The stained concrete floor is one of the most startling
changes to the room.  No longer coldly corporate, is it?

I'm sorry that today's post is short and sweet but these dust
bunnies aren't going to collect themselves.  Have a great day!
