Tuesday Miscellany

Collecting is a fascinating subject and I'm especially interested in the types of things people collect.
The way people display their treasures is also interesting.  Some collections are small and, like the photo on the right, easily fit into a printer's drawer.

Other collections require massive amounts of space and, often, are the center of a decorating scheme.  The brick wall in the photos below is the perfect backdrop for the vintage radio collection.

Vintage radios are still relatively affordable and fairly easy to find.  The advancement in American communication technology from the 1920s to the 1960s is just one of the allures for collecting these beauties and many collectors enjoy restoring the radios to their original, working state.

New British Decorating Website Debuts!

91 Magazine is a new, online decorating magazine.  Skimming their virtual pages I came across something that looked a little familiar - my stumpy, shabby step stool!

Vindication!  ha, ha!

Here are a few other delightful photos that
I want to share with you.  Enjoy!

Take a close look at the turquoise Mid-Century chair.  Hopefully, in the near future, you'll get to see my own personal 'before and after' restoration of a similar chair.

I covet this totally charming and funky 60s lamp!

Wouldn't you love to see the rest of the owner's home?
Great decorating moment.
